Getting around Cantt

This is the single best-connected part of Varanasi. The main railway station, the inter-city bus stand and the airport road all anchor here, and you will never struggle to find an auto.

It is also the most traffic-heavy. The Cantt–Andhra Pul–Chetganj–Maldahiya stretch is notoriously slow, and between roughly 4 PM and 8 PM it carries school returns, station traffic and market rush at the same time.
